Arthi Agarwal has the reputation for being Tollywood’s lucky mascot as all her movies go on to do well.
Arthi Agarwal was born on 5th March in New Jersey, U.S.A. When she was fourteen years old, she got a chance to go on stage with Sunil Shetty. This prompted her to take acting lessons at Cours Florent. She has a sister Adithi, who has also acted in movies like Gangotri.
She married Ujjwal Kumar in 2007.
Arthi was in the news for trying to commit suicide which went unconfirmed.
Arthi Agarwal made her debut in Bollywood with Paagalpan (2001) which went unnoticed. She got an offer to act in the Telugu movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav (2001), directed by K.Vijaya Bhaskar. She was cast opposite Venkatesh and the movie did well at the box office.
In 2002, she had another hit in hand with Indra, which also starred Sonali Bendre and Chiranjeevi. In Vasantham (2003), she teamed up with Venkatesh again. She played Shriya Saran’s friend in Nenunnanu (2004). She even worked in the Tamil movie Bambara Kannaley (2005).
Her other movies were Narasimhudu (2005), Andala Ramudu (2006) and Gorintaku (2008).
